Pledges
In a reunion year such as this, you can make a multi-year pledge for gifts of at least $5,000, which can be
paid over 2-5 years. To set up a pledge, contact 1966 Class Officer Paul McNeeley at paul_mcneeley@harvard.edu or 617-384-8203. You will be recognized for the full amount of the pledge now, and the full amount of the pledge will be counted in the class total for the 45th Reunion.

Matches
Many employers offer a matching gift program. Contact your company's personnel or employee
benefits office to find out if you can further maximize your gift in this way.

Joint Credit
If you and your spouse are both alums of the College, you will receive joint credit for your gift.
That means if you are '66 and your spouse is '67 and you give one joint gift, you will be counted as a
donor for '66 and your spouse for '67. The total amount of the gift will be counted in both class totals.
If both you and your spouse are '66 class members, the amount of your joint gift will be credited once
to the '66 class total but each of you will be counted as a donor for participation.

Athletics Gifts
Gifts to athletics "Friends of" groups receive class credit (up to $10,000) and will be counted in the
reunion total and participation. However, we ask that you please consider a gift to the College Fund
as well as athletics where possible. As President Faust once said, there wouldn't be athletic teams
without the student-athletes – and more than 60 percent of undergraduates receive outright
need-based scholarships as a result of alumni gifts to the College Fund.
