pre-reunion event

Our second event will take
place in the same location on August 2 at 5 pm Eastern Daylight
Time.
Our guest speaker is classmate Mary Mackey, who will share with
us the details of her highly successful writing career
(including the publication of one novella, twelve novels and
five collections of poetry).
If you HAVE signed up for Second Life
and have already created an avatar,

Please note that Second
Life has a new "viewer" (Viewer 2.0) that
sets up
your screen slightly differently than the older
viewers did.
If you haven't been to the Olde
Yard before, a shortcut is to point your Web browser
to:
http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/iCommons%202/112/100/25
Click on "Visit this location" in the Welcome box.
Then sign in when asked. You'll be taken to the
Yard.
You can speed the above process by
going to the location in advance
and creating a landmark there.
If you haven't yet signed up for
Second Life, go to
www.secondlife.com, join up
and follow the directions for creating your personal avatar.
